Hello, Hillcrest Church;

Pastor Tim, along with the staff team and church board has made the decision to suspend all services and mid-week activities until the end of March. Our first priority is the health and safety of our members and community. We know that you are united with us in wanting to do whatever we can to protect our loved ones who are most vulnerable.

It is hard for us to not be together, but our staff team is working on creative ways to communicate and keep in touch as a family. Pastor Tim will be delivering a weekly message that you’ll be able to watch online HERE. We’ll also have more information coming out very soon to address specific ministry to our children and youth. We are encouraging Life Groups to determine their own meeting schedules.

This crisis creates an opportunity for us to be the church in action.Many of you have already called the church office to offer your help and service to those in need. We are blessed by your love for one another. Your faith and hope shines like a light in this season of fear and anxiety.

Please call the church office or contact one of our staff members if you need food or assistance.

The most important thing you can do is join us in praying for the health and protection of our community, nation, and world. Pray especially for the safety and strength of our medical personnel who are serving with such compassion. Pray for health over those who are ill. Pray for peace over those who are afraid. Pray for wisdom over those who lead.

We close with these words of Jesus from John 14:27:
“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”
